The One, our Creator, wills us be in Heaven – Peace of Mind. We are already and have always been in Heaven. Having faith in this one thing is sufficient to allow Spirit to bring the state of Heaven – which we are in – to our awareness. Having faith in this one idea, believing this one idea, is all we really need do to shift our awareness and remember who we really are. Spirit – our Higher Holy Spirit Self – is waiting within us to raise our mind to the awareness of our true nature, our true essence, our true state of being. Everything that comes our way, every encounter, every experience, every thought, is an opportunity to learn a lesson that will bring us closer to the awareness of who we really are, to Heaven. It’s our choice what we have faith in. It’s our choice what we believe. Spirit is given us to help us test our faith and beliefs to discern what is real and what is not. If we are believing something that is mistaken, we need simply release our attachment to that belief and allow Spirit to guide us to the truth. The choice is between sanity and insanity. What would we choose?

Our true mind contains a communication link with the One that was placed there in our creation. This communication link can never be broken. We may believe it’s been broken or even that it never existed. This mistaken belief interferes with the deep peace in which the sweet communication the One shares with us is known. The channels of Peace reaching out cannot be wholly closed. Peace is ours because Peace still flows from our Source whose Will is Peace. We have Peace now. Nothing can change that fact. Spirit teaches us to use this Peace within us by extending it to learn that it is within us. There is no chance that Peace and Heaven are not ours. This is sure. We can rest assured in this.

We will learn what we need and who we are by sharing with others what they need and who they are. We then see the same truth we see in others in ourselves. And we will know it is true by the peace of heaven we feel as we share this truth. This is the grace of the One. Truth flows gracefully as we allow peace to rise up in us. Awaken to yourself as you awaken to each other. Awaken to the communication that flows within our minds. The call is there within our minds waiting for us to awaken to It. The Course askes us this:

Can we lose ourselves in dreams, when the One has placed within us the glad Call to waken and be glad? We cannot separate ourselves from what is in us. Our sleep will not withstand the Call to wake. The mission of redemption will be fulfilled as surely as the creation will remain unchanged throughout eternity. We do not have to know that Heaven is ours to make it so. It is so. Yet to know it, the Will of the One must be accepted as our will.   T-13.XI.10.1-6

Are we ready to accept the Peace we are? Are we ready to accept that we are in Heaven? Will we reconcile our mistaken beliefs about ourselves with the truth about who we really are? This great release is ours for the accepting. We needn’t worry about the mechanics of this mind shift. Spirit will guide this shift with great skill and gentleness. Spirits plan for our release will be and is perfectly accomplished. We will be and are released to the awareness of our One Holly Self of which we all are, joined in Oneness. We are released to the awareness of the peace of Heaven within us. Be and rest in that Peace.

The peace in which we dwell is invariable. This invariable peace is within us. This just is. Nothing can change this. Only our denial of the peace in which we dwell can block it from our awareness. Peace is still within us. We have chosen to believe that the battles within our minds are real instead. The power of our belief in unreality blocks our awareness of the peace within us in which we dwell. Because we believe there is an opponent threatening us, we engage in a battle in our minds and even seek escape from those battles to preserve our peace of mind. We have denied the fact that our peace of mind is real and thus indestructible. There is nothing that can harm the peace within us. And this is what we forget or deny.

The One would not have us embattled, so our perceived enemies are totally unreal. We are trying to escape a war that doesn’t exist. It is gone. We have heard the song of freedom rising to Heaven through the Spirit’s Voice, bringing our release from that which is not real. We open our eyes and see with the eyes of Spirit. What we believe we value, and as long as we value what is not real, that unreality will be what we see.

When we are all united in Heaven, you will value nothing that you value here. For nothing that you value here do you value wholly, and so you do not value it at all. Value is where the One placed it, and the value of what the One esteems cannot be judged, for it has been established. It is wholly of value. It can merely be appreciated or not. To value it partially is not to know its value. In Heaven is everything the One values, and nothing else. Heaven is perfectly unambiguous. Everything is clear and bright, and calls forth one response. There is no darkness and there is no contrast. There is no variation. There is no interruption. There is a sense of peace so deep that no dream in this world has ever brought even a dim imagining of what it is.   T-13.XI.3.1-13

We can rest in this assurance. We are one with the One. We are inseparable from that essence that we are and have always been, rooted in peace. This essence is indestructible. And though it may appear to be otherwise in this world while we still abide here in our minds, it is not real. Our minds may be darkened by doubt and guilt, but we are given the Holy Spirit whose mission it is to remove all doubt and every trace of guilt that we have laid upon ourselves. Whatever our reaction to Spirit’s voice may be, to whatever voice we may choose to listen, or whatever strange thoughts may occur to us, we will find the peace of Heaven in which we dwell. This is as invariable as the peace in which we dwell and of which Spirit reminds us.

Then what are we doing now?

You will not remember change and shift in Heaven. You have need of contrast only here. Contrast and differences are necessary teaching aids, for by them you learn what to avoid and what to seek. When you have learned this, you will find the answer that makes the need for any differences disappear. Truth comes of its own will unto its own. When you have learned that you belong to truth, it will flow lightly over you without a difference of any kind. For you will need no contrast to help you realize that this is what you want, and only this. Fear not the Holy Spirit will fail in what you Creator has given It to do. The Will of the One can fail in nothing.   T-13.XI.6.1-9

Welcome all that comes your way on your journey. Each experience and each encounter are the contrasts we need on our journey to the remembrance of the peace in which we dwell. Only by releasing our attachment to the guilt and doubt we value so, will we allow Spirit to guide us to the freedom from that doubt and guilt to the awareness of the peace in which we always have and always will dwell. Be the peace you are right now.

Are we ready to give up guilt? Are we ready to see ourselves and each other differently? We say we want peace. We say we want love. Look within and be still. Let go of the tendency to evaluate everything you think you see. Look within and be still. In the quiet of that stillness will you look upon another’s purity and recognize their holiness. And offer thanks to that One’s Creator that no guilt has ever touched them. In your gratitude will you recognize your own purity and holiness and realize that guilt has never touched you either. Our wholeness, purity and holiness is sacrosanct. It can never be touched. And we return to the awareness of our truth as we look within and enter the stillness of our essence. It is not found through action and doing. Our true essence is recognized in the quiet presence of the preset moment, the now. We are asked to rest in the One. No more and no less.

No misperception we have ever held about ourselves or another has touched our/their innocence in any way. Our shining purity, wholly untouched by guilt and wholly loving, is bright within every one of us. Our radiance shines forth for all to recognize if we are willing to see with our Spirit eyes. As we walk in this world of form, look with love and forgiveness on each other. Look beyond all appearances to the radiance within each one. Gladness and appreciation for what you see will banish guilt forever from your mind. We are released from guilt, which has never really touched us. We are free. We are whole. We are complete. We are holy.

Our faith and our belief are centered on what we treasure. Treasure only what is holy. Treasure only what is true. Treasure only that which shines its radiance from within each of us as we look beyond the appearances we have grown so accustomed to believing. Let go of those misperceptions and rest in the stillness where peace abides within us. Trust in this peace. Trust in the Voice within you that calls you to Oneness. Be thankful for the peace that radiates from within. Walk in gratitude for the well-being that rises in our willingness to release ourselves from the bonds of our misperceptions. Look beyond another’s appearance to the Love they are and release both from the bonds of our egoic mind. Be the peace within you.

Praise be to you who make the Creator One with all of Us. Alone we are all lowly, but together we shine with brightness so intense that none of us alone can even think of it. Before the glorious radiance of the Realm guilt melts away, and transformed into kindness will never more be what it was. Every reaction you experience will be so purified that it is fitting as a hymn of praise unto your Creator. See only praise of the One in what the One has created, for the One will never cease praising you. United in this praise we stand before the gates of Heaven where we will surely enter in our sinlessness. The One loves you. Could I, then, lack faith in you and love the One perfectly? T-13.X.14.1-8

Live in the gratitude for the awareness of who we really are. No matter what or who we encounter, or how it or they appear, we are untouched by the bonds of guilt we have made. Our wholeness, our completeness, our holiness shines within us. When we become distracted, stop, be still, and look within to the quiet radiance that shines within. It is there within each and every one of us, there for the willingness to believe it is there and thus see. And in gratitude reflect, “For all that is, I am grateful.”

The “thing” we are seeking is surely found within. All that is real is within us. We are what is real. We always have been, are now and always will be. At-One-ment is found within. The realization that we are One with each other, all creation and the One is At-One-ment. As long as we believe that there are forces outside of us affecting us, we deny our Identity, who we really are. Our belief in guilt is an effect of our belief that there are outside forces affecting us. The Course tells us:    As long as you believe that guilt is justified in any way, in anyone, whatever they may do, you will not look within, where you would always find At-One-ment. The end of guilt will never come as long as you believe there is a reason for it. T-13.X.6.1-2 Nothing more than our belief that anything can affect us from outside blocks our awareness of our true Identity, the awareness of who we are; whole complete, holy and at peace. You see, we believe we are something we are not, and it is time we released our attachment to that belief.

We believe in guilt because we believe that forces outside us impact us. Nothing outside us is real. All that we perceive to be outside us and beyond our control is not real but illusion. It definitely appears real to us because we believe it is possible. However, our belief is what makes it appear real. We could easily blame ourselves for this misperception, but that will only reinforce the feeling of and belief in guilt. Our release from guilt is in allowing Spirit to guide our thoughts resulting in changes in our beliefs. Spirit guides our mind as we release our attachment to our habitual beliefs and perceptions; those we never even question anymore. This allows Spirit to bring the remembrance of what is within to our minds. It reconnects our minds with the One Mind, of which we are. Our wholeness has never left us. Our holiness has never been tainted. We are intact as we are created, in the image of the One. We are the love we are created in and that love is what we will reawaken to as we allow Spirit to guide our mind.

Now it is given you to heal and teach, to make what will be now. As yet it is not now. The Children of the One believe that they are lost in guilt, alone in a dark world where pain is pressing everywhere upon them from without. When they have looked within and see the radiance there, they will remember how much their Creator loves them. And it will seem incredible that they ever thought their Creator loved them not, and looked upon them as condemned. The moment that you realize guilt is insane, wholly unjustified and wholly without reason, you will not fear to look upon the Atonement and accept it wholly.   T-13.X.8.1-6

Peace of mind is ours for the allowing. Isn’t this what we really want? Are we willing to release our belief in guilt to another belief as guided by Spirit?

Paragraph T-13.X.10 gives us this promise:

Release from guilt as you would be released. There is no other way to look within and see the light of love, shining as steadily and as surely as the One has always loved You. And as You love the One. There is no fear in love, for love is guiltless. You who have always loved your Creator can have no fear, for any reason, to look within and see your holiness. You cannot be as you believed you were. Your guilt is without reason because it is not in the Mind of the One, where you are. And this is reason, which the Holy Spirit would restore to you. Spirit would remove only illusions. All else Spirit would have you see. And in Christ’s vision Spirit would show you the perfect purity that is forever within You.

Love is where we find the perfect peace within us. As we look with love and forgiveness on each other and the world we see, all is transformed to its true reality. We begin to see beyond the appearance of every little thing in this world that seems to be outside us and see a new understanding that transcends its appearance. We see the real meaning rising in our mind and begin to see our true Identity. We reawaken to the awareness of our wholeness, our completeness and our holiness, finding peace at the core of all we feel. Allow yourself to love unconditionally and allow Spirit to guide you to the awareness of you true Identity. Look within and see your radiance there as you are released from the bonds of guilt.

What is guilt? How does the Course define guilt? In the Glossary of Terms, guilt is defined as: The painful emotion that stems from believing that you have sinned and have thus corrupted your being, making yourself worthy of punishment and unworthy of love. The Course teaches that this belief is false, for your true nature as God’s holy Child is incorruptible. Further, the following is from the Glossary-Index by Kenneth Wapnick: the feeling experienced in relation to sin; its reflection from our minds is seen in all the negative feelings and beliefs we have about ourselves, mostly unconscious; rests on a sense of inherent unworthiness, seemingly beyond even the forgiving power of God, Who we erroneously believe demands punishment for our seeming sin of separation against God; following the ego’s counsel that to look on guilt would destroy us, we deny its presence in our minds, and then project it outward in the form of attack, either onto others as anger or onto our own bodies as sickness. We are actually willing to look at all kinds of “sources” of our pain provided they are not the deeper source to which they bear no real relationship at all. We deny its presence in our minds as it seems unbearable to us. And that’s exactly what the ego wants us to believe, thus blocking our awareness of our true holy nature, our true holy Self.

Real relationships are pure. They are used by the Holy Spirit to heal. They have a holy purpose. No real relationship can hold one spot of guilt and maintain its purity or holiness. When we place a condition or project guilt on a relationship, we make it “special” and so block our awareness of its purity. All relationships we allow guilt to touch we use to avoid the person and the guilt. In this way we block ourselves from the awareness of the holiness of the person and our own holiness. Unity – Oneness – cannot rise in our mind when we look to the past and the guilt and pain we place there. The past is gone. The past is not in us. Yet we allow the past and the guilt we associate with it to stand between another and ourselves, blocking our awareness of our Oneness. We believe there are problems between us that are not there and thus use each other to fix what needs no fixing! This is indeed insane.

What would happen if we stopped doing as we have always done? It hasn’t worked very well so far.   Once we seem to have fixed one problem, another seems to present itself. And then another pops up, and so on. Perhaps we can be open to the idea that we have not been willing to look at the deeper source of our pain and so our pain continues to present in a new form each time we think we have resolved it. Perhaps it’s time to change our thinking. Perhaps it’s time to bring our relationships into the now. The Course tells us:

Determine, then, to be not as you were. Use no relationship to hold you to the past, but with each one each day be born again. A minute, even less, will be enough to free you from the past, and give your mind in peace over to the At-One-ment. When everyone is welcome to you as you would have yourself be welcome to your Creator, you will see no guilt in you. For you will have accepted the At-One-ment, which shone within you all the while you dreamed of guilt, and would not look within and see it [At-One-ment].   T-13.X.5.1-5

Perhaps it’s time to stop what we’ve become accustomed to doing and look within to Spirit who waits there for our willingness to see differently. Peace is there within us, shared with all our brothers and sisters alike in Oneness, needing only our awareness to rise in our minds and join us in the Unity we are always. Peace, Joy and Love are within us waiting to be shared with all of creation. Let it be so.

Our reluctance to look within is the cause of our blindness. What are we blind to? We are blind to the truth about who we really are. We are blind to our perfection, our completeness and our limitlessness. We have also come up with ways to “look within” which don’t actually look within at all. We believe we are looking within when are actually projecting our misperceived identity on others and therefore ourselves. Misperception is the root of all our guilt. We believe something less about each other and therefore believe that same less about ourselves. So what do we then do? We blame others for our mistaken belief we hold about them. We may think this absolves us from our responsibility of our thoughts, but that is impossible. No one except ourselves can be responsible for what we think and believe.

What happens, then, is that our belief in a mistaken identity blinds us to our real identity. We move through this human existence in a sort of cloud or fog. We operate as if the mistaken beliefs we hold are true, yet they don’t quite make sense. There are so many inconsistencies and conflicting ideas. We feel less than good about so much in our world. And so we try to blame it on the world we think is affecting us. Our problem is that we are the source of the world we see and think is affecting us. We are looking outside ourselves for the relief we seek from our unpleasant world. Looking within will open us to the release we are seeking.

See no one, then, as guilty, and you will affirm the truth of guiltlessness unto yourself. In every condemnation that you offer the One Child of God lies the conviction of your own guilt. If you would have the Holy Spirit make you free of it, accept Spirit’s offer of At-One-ment for all your sisters and brothers. For so you learn that it is true for you. Remember always that it is impossible to condemn the One Child of God in part. Those whom you see as guilty become the witnesses to guilt in you, and you will see it there, for it is there until it is undone.   T-13.IX.6.1-6

We see what we believe and we can only believe in one idea at one time. Belief in opposing ideas at one time is impossible. Realize that the source of our belief is our own mind and that Spirit is within us waiting for us to allow It to gently correct our beliefs.

Do not be afraid to look within. The egoic thought system tells you all is black with guilt within you, and bids you not to look. Within you is not what you believe is there, and what you put your faith in. Within you is the holy sign of perfect faith your Creator has in you. The One does not value you as you do. The One knows Oneself, and knows the truth in you. The One knows there is no difference, for the One knows not of differences. Can you see guilt where the One knows there is perfect innocence? You can deny Your knowledge, but you cannot change it. Look, then, upon the light the One placed within you, and learn that what you feared was there has been replaced with love.   T-13.IX.8.1-2, 6-13

Our pure perfect light is within us. This pure perfect light has always shone within us striving to break through the cloud of guilt and darkness we held so closely. We could not see it through the fog we had made of the belief in our mistaken perceptions about who we are. Awaken to the light of our true Self within. All that is mistaken will fade at this light’s presence. The remembrance of who we really are will rise in us as we see it rise in each other. As you gently walk in this world we made, allow yourself to see the wholeness and light of each one you encounter. It matters not what the circumstances of the encounter. It is our choice to see with Spirit eyes rather than the body’s eyes. The light will always shine away all that is not true and real. Let the light rise in your mind, for that is where the light is and the cloud is gone.

The idea of guilt is one that I find difficult to fully understand. Perhaps I can try to see it differently. Perhaps I an attached to a perception of guilt that is not what the Course is trying to covey. Paragraph 1.2 says, The guilty always condemn, and having done so they will still condemn, linking the future to the past as is the ego’s law. Perhaps guilt is the idea of linking the future to the past, thus blocking the light of the present from my mind. My attachment to the past certainly condemns me to the unawareness of my true Self that shines in the present. Not seeing my true Light allows me to carry my attachment to the past into the future where I am condemned to repeat the past again and again as I have placed my faith in it and believe it to be real. The word “condemn” may be strong, for we are always whole, but it can certainly seem that way when we are in the middle of it.

The Course asks us again and again to examine what we believe; about ourselves and others and who we are. Our mind is so powerful that what we place our trust in – what we believe – will rule our awareness. The phrase “what I believe I will see” is the manifestation of that power. We have the power of creation given us by our Creator, and we are given free will to do what we want with that power. However, the Creator has willed that we cannot do any harm with our power. Only what is real – holy – can remain while what is mistaken remains only in our egoic mind. We are free to let go of our attachment to what is mistaken at any time we choose to align our mind with the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

Most of us have experienced what being in a dense fog is like. We can only see what is right adjacent to us. All else is murky and blurred. We can’t make out the dim figures around us in the fog. This is what carrying guilt in our mind is like. We can’t see the reality of what is around us because of the fog. Fog is just a low cloud hugging the ground. It is like darkness which the Course tells us is where our egoic mind keeps us. Until we allow the bright light of reality to shine in the darkness, we cannot see reality. The world holds our release from the cloud for us if we are willing to allow Spirit to guide our thoughts. Allowing Spirit to guide us establishes a break in the clouds where the light of truth can shine in and dispel the conditions of darkness. The truth of our wholeness and perfection rises to our minds in that light and reminds us of our true being. It is the joy of the sun coming out after a storm that washes over our mind that reminds us of who we really are. This change of thought is the miracle we are seeking. This change of thought is our redemption, our salvation and the At-One-ment. We return to the awareness that we are all One and there is no separation nor has there ever been any real separation.

The world can give you only what you gave it, for being nothing but your own projection, it has no meaning apart from what you found in it and placed your faith in. Be faithful unto darkness and you will not see, because your faith will be rewarded as you gave it. You will accept your treasure, and if you place your faith in the past, the future will be like it. Whatever you hold dear you think is yours. The power of your valuing will make it so.   T-13.IX.3.1-5

Let us ask ourselves, “What treasure have we chosen for ourselves?” Have we chosen the past and separation as our treasure? Has that really worked for us? Are we willing to let go of our attachment – belief and trust – in that idea and allow the light of the present to shine through the break in the clouds we never noticed before? Spirit is within us waiting for us to be just a little willing to step into the light shining through the break in the cloud of guilt. A remembrance of our wholeness, completeness and limitlessness will come rushing into our mind reminding us of who we really are and our holiness. Now is the time. This present moment is the time. Let that light shine into your mind and step into Oneness which you never really left. The exact now is up to you, but do let it be now and rise on the wings of Oneness to the awareness of who you really are.

Our role in the redemption of the world leads us to knowledge – reality – by reestablishing oneness in our minds. This is what our function is in this world. This is what all form and perception is leading us toward – reestablishing oneness in our minds. Even as we make mistakes or perceive incorrectly, it all leads us toward oneness – returning to the awareness of who we really are. The Course asks us to listen to the Voice for God – Spirit’s Voice – and to see with Spirit’s Vision. Being vigilant for Spirit’s guidance is the function of the Child of God who returns to the awareness of who they really are and always have been. Every One we encounter in this world is showing us the way to reestablish oneness in our minds. The Course tells us this:

They [all who think they wander in darkness] are all the same; all beautiful and equal in their holiness. And Spirit will offer them unto the One as they were offered unto Spirit. There is one miracle, as there is one reality. And every miracle you do contains them all, as every aspect of reality you see blends quietly into the one reality of the One. The only miracle that ever was is the One’s most holy Child, created in the one reality that is the One. Spirit’s vision is Spirit’s gift to you. Spirit’s Being is the One’s gift to Us. ACIM T-13.VIII.6.1-7

We are all beautiful. We are all whole and complete. We are all holy and perfect. These have always been and will always be. Nothing can change our creation. Yet we, in the misperceiving of our creative power, can believe we are something we are not. We can’t change the truth about us, but we can think we are not our truth and thus believe we are less than what we are. We have allowed the awareness of our oneness to slip from our minds. All we think and do in this world either separates us from each other or joins us with each other.

Miracles join us with each orther. All miracles are the same. They take a multitude of forms, but every miracle’s purpose is to join us with each other. What is our intention in all we do? Is our intention to join in unity or to splinter into separate factions? Let Oneness be our shared intention. Love is the blessing that joins us all for Love can only be shared. Its nature is to bring together and join us all in Oneness. Be a witness to each other’s perfection. Be willing to see each other with Spirit’s Vision and see that we are One with each other. Perception leads to Knowledge as we allow Spirit to guide our perception. Its really is a reawakening to the reality of who we all really are no matter what mistaken beliefs we have aligned ourselves with in the past. Let your past beliefs go and allow Spirit to guide you to the awareness and reestablishment of oneness in your mind. Return to the Being of who you really are.

We will break for the holidays and not meet on Tuesdays, Dec. 22 and 29, 2015. We will resume meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016. Have a blessed holiday filled with peace and joy and love.

Perception, guided by Spirit, leads us to knowledge. The One gave us Spirit to guide our perception, for perception is of the world. As with an\ything of the world, perception has a correct use and an incorrect use. Left to our egoic thought system, which is aligned with the belief in separation, perception is based on an error that believes the past is real. But guided by Spirit, perception can guide us to the awareness that all reality is One and that there is no separation. Reality can be seen in all aspects of the world if we will allow Spirit to guide our perception. Glimpsed in parts, Reality resonates within us for we never really left frailty. But while we believe we are separate, Spirit will show us glimpses of reality until we completely relinquish the past and our belief that the past is real.

The very real difference between perception and knowledge becomes quite apparent if you consider this: There is nothing partial about knowledge. Every aspect is whole, and therefore no aspect is separate. You are an aspect of knowledge, being in the Mind of God, Who knows you. All knowledge must be yours, for in you is all knowledge. Perception, at its loftiest, is never complete. Even the perception of the Holy Spirit, as perfect as perception can be, is without meaning in Heaven. Perception can reach everywhere under His guidance, for the vision of Christ beholds everything in light. Yet no perception, however holy, will last forever. T-13.VIII.1-8

The miracle is our release from the past. This is our healing. Spirit is the only healer in the sense that Spirtit os our guide in changing our perception. Healing is the return of our awareness to our reality and our eternal nature. Knowledge is the knowing without any doubts that all creation is One and that we are complete and One with each other right now as we were created. Nothing other than completeness and wholeness is real. Allow perfect perception to rise in your mind as Spirit guides your thoughts and find yourself at the edge of knowledge. This miracle has no function in Heaven, but is needful here in this world. See the aspects of reality where Spirit replaces the aspects of unreality. As we allow more and more aspects of reality to rise in our mind, they gather together as one to bring us into the awareness of eternity.

Be the vision of the Spirit. See with Spirit eyes and hear with Spitt ears. Miracles occur and we see differently.

This is the miracle of creation; that it is one forever. Every miracle you offer to the Child of God is but the true perception of one aspect of the whole. Though every aspect is the whole, you cannot know this until you see that every aspect is the same, perceived in the same light and therefore one. Everyone seen without the past thus brings you nearer to the end of time by bringing healed and healing sight into the darkness, and enabling the world to see. For light must come into the darkened world to make Christ’s vision possible even here. Help Spirit to give the gift of light to all who think they wander in the darkness, and let the One gather them into the quiet sight that makes them one. T-13.VIII.5.1-6

Return to the awareness of Oneness. Share that oneness with all you encounter. See it in all you see and hear. The awareness of your wholeness is there for you to embrace. Let your mind be guided by Spirit’s clear bright light and you will surely remember who you really are.

The egoic thought system will always tempt us to take useless journeys away from light. Why is this so? It keeps our thoughts focused on the darkness that is not there rather than the light that is always within us. Do we choose to align our thoughts with the dark thoughts of separation? Or are we willing to trust Spirit to guide us toward the light as Spirit will always do. What we have forgotten is that the egoic thought system is not real and has no power except the power we give it. And even then, it cannot actually change our wholeness and completeness. It can only hide it from our awareness simply by redirecting our attention. It is of our own making, yet we seem to be powerless in its thought. Our willingness to allow Spirit to guide our thoughts toward light rather than darkness is all we really need to lt our attraction to it go.

Then follow Spirit in joy, with faith that Spirit will lead you safely through all dangers to your peace of mind this world may set before you. Kneel not before the altars to sacrifice, and seek not what you will surely lose. Content yourself with what you will as surely keep, and be not restless, for you undertake a quiet journey to the peace of the One, where the One would have you be in quietness. T-13.VII.15.1-3

We find our true Self in quietness, not in the business of the world we seem to see. The Course instructs us to rest in the One. There is nothing about trying harder or expending more effort. It’s all about allowing Spirit to guide our thoughts. We will still walk together in this world as it unfolds before us and play our role in each others’ healing. Yet we will understand it through Spirit’s eyes and ears and mind. Our perception of the same events others see and experience yet see them differently. We will see them through the eyes of peace and love. Let us turn toward the light and allow the darkness to vanish into the light.

Allow Spirit to teach you to awaken unto Oneness and to yourself. This is the only real need we have in time. And it will be fulfilled. We choose when to allow it and this when we return to peace. Jesus said, My peace I give to you.” Accept the gift of peace in exchange for the misery of the world that is not real. Together we will spread it like a veil of light across the world. Light up each other in the quietness that emanated from Spirit within and all around us. It is our true purpose. As we join our voices together in the ancient song of Oneness, we bless each other with the peace and love we are and light up their faces in the blessing of our joined completion. We do not dwell here, but in eternity. And eternity is now – no other time than now. We travel in dreams of useless journeys, while safe at home. Awaken to your real home. This is the attainment of the real world. And you will rest in the peace that is already within you, there but forgotten. Remember again!
