We will break for the holidays and not meet on Tuesdays, Dec. 22 and 29, 2015. We will resume meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016. Have a blessed holiday filled with peace and joy and love.

Perception, guided by Spirit, leads us to knowledge. The One gave us Spirit to guide our perception, for perception is of the world. As with an\ything of the world, perception has a correct use and an incorrect use. Left to our egoic thought system, which is aligned with the belief in separation, perception is based on an error that believes the past is real. But guided by Spirit, perception can guide us to the awareness that all reality is One and that there is no separation. Reality can be seen in all aspects of the world if we will allow Spirit to guide our perception. Glimpsed in parts, Reality resonates within us for we never really left frailty. But while we believe we are separate, Spirit will show us glimpses of reality until we completely relinquish the past and our belief that the past is real.

The very real difference between perception and knowledge becomes quite apparent if you consider this: There is nothing partial about knowledge. Every aspect is whole, and therefore no aspect is separate. You are an aspect of knowledge, being in the Mind of God, Who knows you. All knowledge must be yours, for in you is all knowledge. Perception, at its loftiest, is never complete. Even the perception of the Holy Spirit, as perfect as perception can be, is without meaning in Heaven. Perception can reach everywhere under His guidance, for the vision of Christ beholds everything in light. Yet no perception, however holy, will last forever. T-13.VIII.1-8

The miracle is our release from the past. This is our healing. Spirit is the only healer in the sense that Spirtit os our guide in changing our perception. Healing is the return of our awareness to our reality and our eternal nature. Knowledge is the knowing without any doubts that all creation is One and that we are complete and One with each other right now as we were created. Nothing other than completeness and wholeness is real. Allow perfect perception to rise in your mind as Spirit guides your thoughts and find yourself at the edge of knowledge. This miracle has no function in Heaven, but is needful here in this world. See the aspects of reality where Spirit replaces the aspects of unreality. As we allow more and more aspects of reality to rise in our mind, they gather together as one to bring us into the awareness of eternity.

Be the vision of the Spirit. See with Spirit eyes and hear with Spitt ears. Miracles occur and we see differently.

This is the miracle of creation; that it is one forever. Every miracle you offer to the Child of God is but the true perception of one aspect of the whole. Though every aspect is the whole, you cannot know this until you see that every aspect is the same, perceived in the same light and therefore one. Everyone seen without the past thus brings you nearer to the end of time by bringing healed and healing sight into the darkness, and enabling the world to see. For light must come into the darkened world to make Christ’s vision possible even here. Help Spirit to give the gift of light to all who think they wander in the darkness, and let the One gather them into the quiet sight that makes them one. T-13.VIII.5.1-6

Return to the awareness of Oneness. Share that oneness with all you encounter. See it in all you see and hear. The awareness of your wholeness is there for you to embrace. Let your mind be guided by Spirit’s clear bright light and you will surely remember who you really are.

The egoic thought system will always tempt us to take useless journeys away from light. Why is this so? It keeps our thoughts focused on the darkness that is not there rather than the light that is always within us. Do we choose to align our thoughts with the dark thoughts of separation? Or are we willing to trust Spirit to guide us toward the light as Spirit will always do. What we have forgotten is that the egoic thought system is not real and has no power except the power we give it. And even then, it cannot actually change our wholeness and completeness. It can only hide it from our awareness simply by redirecting our attention. It is of our own making, yet we seem to be powerless in its thought. Our willingness to allow Spirit to guide our thoughts toward light rather than darkness is all we really need to lt our attraction to it go.

Then follow Spirit in joy, with faith that Spirit will lead you safely through all dangers to your peace of mind this world may set before you. Kneel not before the altars to sacrifice, and seek not what you will surely lose. Content yourself with what you will as surely keep, and be not restless, for you undertake a quiet journey to the peace of the One, where the One would have you be in quietness. T-13.VII.15.1-3

We find our true Self in quietness, not in the business of the world we seem to see. The Course instructs us to rest in the One. There is nothing about trying harder or expending more effort. It’s all about allowing Spirit to guide our thoughts. We will still walk together in this world as it unfolds before us and play our role in each others’ healing. Yet we will understand it through Spirit’s eyes and ears and mind. Our perception of the same events others see and experience yet see them differently. We will see them through the eyes of peace and love. Let us turn toward the light and allow the darkness to vanish into the light.

Allow Spirit to teach you to awaken unto Oneness and to yourself. This is the only real need we have in time. And it will be fulfilled. We choose when to allow it and this when we return to peace. Jesus said, My peace I give to you.” Accept the gift of peace in exchange for the misery of the world that is not real. Together we will spread it like a veil of light across the world. Light up each other in the quietness that emanated from Spirit within and all around us. It is our true purpose. As we join our voices together in the ancient song of Oneness, we bless each other with the peace and love we are and light up their faces in the blessing of our joined completion. We do not dwell here, but in eternity. And eternity is now – no other time than now. We travel in dreams of useless journeys, while safe at home. Awaken to your real home. This is the attainment of the real world. And you will rest in the peace that is already within you, there but forgotten. Remember again!

This week’s Thought from the Foundation for Inner Peace:

“This world of light, this circle of brightness is the real world, where guilt meets with forgiveness.” (T-18.IX.9:1)

The real world is light. Our ability to see the real world is dependent on us allowing the light within us to shine brightly for all to see. There is only one Source, the Divine, and it is within every one of us. This light us eternal. It will never fade or go out. Nothing can ever change this light or harm it. It is ours for eternity. If we don’t see it we are blocking it from our awareness. It is time to remove those blocks and let this light shine so brightly, unimpeded by our attachment to separation.

Yet we have chosen to live this life of separation believing ourselves to be as separate as we appear. In the awareness of our natural spiritual state, we have no needs. We are whole and complete. Yet for a time we have some worldly needs. How do we discern what needs we need and what needs we don’t need. While we have one foot in the world we made and one in the real world. Spirit guides urs every step of the way. All we need do is ask for and watch for guidance form Spirit. It is there in every word spoken, in every action taken. It may not appear to make sense, but Spirit will disclose all we need to know at the appropriate time. Only Sprit knows what we need at any given moment of any day. Let Spirit guide you in everything and attain the real world.

This real world is light and it radiates to all of creation. It cannot hurt us, for it is within us and is the stuff we are created of. The Course says:

Only the Holy Spirit knows what we need. For Spirit will give us all things that do not block the way to light. And what else could we need? In time, Spirit gives us all the things that we need have, and will renew them as long as we have need of them. Spirit will take nothing from us as long as we have any need of it. And yet Spirit knows that everything we need is temporary, and will but last until we step aside from all our needs and realize that all of them have been fulfilled. Therefore, Spirit has no investment in the things that Spirit supplies, except to make certain we will not use them on behalf of lingering in time. Spirit knows we are not at home there, and Spirit wills no delay to wait upon our joyous homecoming. ACIM T-13.VII.12.1-8

Oprn your spirit eyes. Let the light shine in you and in the real world rise up around you in your awareness. It’s already there. It’s already within us waiting for us to let it shine away all darkness from the world. We’re all in thus together. Be One and shine brightly, and see the wholeness of all our brothers and sisters as we allow their light to join ours. It is truly illuminating.
